What's the difference between Product CD and an "OEM" CD?

"OEM" stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, and this means companies that make computers or other hardware systems. Often, there is an agreement that allows computer manufacturers to include a copy of the software installed on a new computer system. When they ship the computer a CD is included.

Some online stores and eBay merchants also sell OEM CDs, which are supposed to come with the new computer. This is not valid.

The product CD we can ship for free is not an OEM CD. It is a replacement for the full product CD just like in the retail box. It will install and have full functionality for up to 30 days.

You can convert our Free CD into a full-year product with an Activation Code.

How many computers can I install my product on?

If you purchased Panda Antivirus 2007, you can install it on up to 2 PC's.
If you purchased Panda Antivirus + Firewall 2007, you can install it on up to 3 PC's.
If you purchased Panda Internet Security 2007, you can install it on up to 3 PC's.

Just use the same User Name and Password in each of your computers.

Is it compatable with my other Antivirus?

No, please make sure you uninstall any Antivirus software you may have.
Having 2 Antivirus products on the same computer will create problems.

Is it compatable with my other Anti-spyware?

Yes, but every Panda product includes full protection against spyware and adware, so we recommend uninstalling any extra anti-spyware products so your computer runs more efficiently.

After I purchase, how is my product delivered?

After you are done with your purchase, you will be sent a receipt, username & password via e-mail to register your product. You will also receive a link to download your product your client area.

You will need to register and insert your user name and password in your product to receive daily updates.

How do I configure automatic updates?

The software will receive 1 automatic update after you install it. In order to get daily automatic updates you must insert your User Name and Password so you are always protected.
